Our society's annual general meeting is on June 20, Saturday; Beach Street Hall at 5:30 pm. We will start the meeting as soon as a quarter of financial members arrived. There is a pot luck tea as well, so please bring something to eat and drink for you and your family and to share to others. We are electing a new Executive Officers and Members so keep this in mind and nominate someone who you think will be suitable. The present committee prefers that you nominate someone who has been a committee member before. This is not set in concrete and the constitution says that any member, (I reiterate, financial member)can be elected. If there is anyone in our community that is new to the area and would like to run as President please let me know. Please come early. We will try our very best to run the meeting as smoothly as we could because I know that it's rugby season and most members want to watch the game. Apart from that, I will be working that night, and I'd like to go home and have a bit of sleep before going on duty.
Please also remember that to be in the committee, you need to be able to spare your time to attend meetings and be actively involved in our fundraising and other activities.
